Dan’s Skill set is related to rehabilitation of sports, and orthopedic injuries. His Passions are in the restoration of Performance for all athletes and returning athletes to their prior or even improve their athletic performance after injury. He has been involved in the treat and restoration of performance for professional and collegiate level athletes. He is also highly experienced when dealing with recreational athletes involved in tennis, golf, tennis and fitness activities. Dan is a SWFL Native and graduated from Evangelical Christian School in Fort Myers. He left the area to pursue his athletic endeavors, playing football for Otterbein University in Westerville Ohio, there he played defensive back and help lead the University in their first NCAA playoff appearance. In 2010 he graduated from Otterbein University with a Bachelors in Athletic Training, and in that same year did an Athletic Training Internship with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He then embarked on a journey to becoming physical therapist while working for local High schools and sports clubs here in SWFL. He Graduated with Honors from the University of St. Augustine for the Health Sciences in 2016 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Following graduation, he married his wife Katye and they moved to Durham North Carolina. While there, he worked for Duke Universities Sports Medicine Department, and was involved in their community outreach programs providing Physical Therapy and Athletic Training services to local arena football, semi-professional soccer, high schools and Duke University’s club athletic teams. Dan moved back to SWFL at the end of 2018, is now working at Collier Sport Medicine where he helps team doc for FGCU provide rehab coverage and assist FGCU with rehab concepts and is consulted with more complicated and challenging cases.

On a more personal note, He is an adjunct professor with FGCU as well as very active as a surfer and his involvement with fitness activities. Recently, his wife gave birth to their first Son Abraham (Bram) at the beginning of 2019 and he is enjoying fatherhood and the fun that comes with living in South West Florida.
